Fraserburgh Old Parish Church
A very big well done to Beldy Blackhall ! Beldy works so hard every day for both the Old Parish Thrift Shop and the Church Centre ! We are delighted that she was presented with TWO Fraserburgh Community awards last week ! She became the community hero for helping so many charities and different events in town and another for the Old Parish Thrift Shop …..smile of the year as she greets people coming into the shop. Please let her know how delighted you are with her success ! We love you Beldy !
Voting starts today ! Here is some information .
The nominations have been made via our call for business in the town that you think deserves the title of ‘Service with a Smile’. There are 10 businesses shortlisted and we need you to help us choose the winner. All nominations can be found by clicking over to our polling page: https://poll.app.do/community-council-service-with-a-smile-vote/gSfpu83E
Over the week we will be showcasing the nominees and the first up to be highlighted is The Old Parish Church Thrift Shop which is managed by a well-known woman in the community, Beldy Blackhall. ‘First class’ is what one customer has described as the customer service of Beldy and the team.
Beldy has worked in the thrift shop for a number of years and provides chat, laughter and most importantly a smile to her customers. Locals and visitors to the town can browse for anything from breeks to brick-a-brac in the High Street shop that has town floors of goodies.
Before working at the Thrift Shop, Beldy worked in a well-known fish factory in the town and has done a great deal for the church and community. The shop is situated at 81-83 High Street Fraserburgh AB43 9ET.
