The congregation play a very active role within the various organisations that exist in the church, to the point where the Kirk Centre is in use every week of the year. These organisations are detailed here.
The Choir
The choir lead the congregation with an anthem every Sunday morning. They also participate in solos/duets/trios. Overall the choir is very active and make the musical aspect of our services lively and interesting. They practise on Thursday night 7.30pm -8.30pm at the church. Sep-April.
Men’s Fellowship
The Men’s Fellowship meet in the coffee lounge once a month – usually on the 3rd Wednesday, beginning in September and ending the following April each year. At most meetings which begin at 7:30pm there is a speaker – occasionally a member – followed by questions then tea and biscuits. The meetings usually finish 9-9.15. For Christmas members gather at a restaurant for a meal and in March an outing is organised. Most people in the Fellowship are church members, but a few are members of other churches or do not generally attend worship at all. No-one is discouraged from attending as this is considered a good form of outreach to the community.
The Guild
The Guild, with a membership of over 80, meets in the Church hall every second Wednesday evening. The programme is lively and varied with speakers, demonstrations or entertainment. The meetings are rounded off with tea and ‘a fancy piece’. The members also enjoy spring and autumn evening outings and a day-long summer outing. The ladies of the Guild play an active part in the life & work of the congregation; organising the Summer Fête and Shoppers’ Lunches at the Christmas Bazaar as well as hosting the Auld Kirk’s annual Harvest and Burn’s Suppers.
Wednesday Club / Lunch Club
The Lunch Club and Wednesday Club for the over 50′s meet every second Wednesday at 1pm in the coffee lounge where they have a two course lunch prepa
red by church volunteers, a speaker, musical programme or demonstration, then finish off with tea and cakes.

Our Handbell Ringers – affectionately known as ‘Broch Bells’ were formed in 2003. This enthusiastic group practice on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm Church Center and take part in worship regularly throughout the year.
